Default 2003 Silverado

[]Howdy out there. I am writing to ask for some help from much smarter people than myself. I have a 2003 Silverado and I have a strange problem. I was out of town on a trip and my truck was parked for a week or so at the security protected jobsite. When I got back and went to get into the truck I noticed that the keyless remote did not work. I figured a dead battery in the fob. I replaced it and no luck. The next day I went and drove the truck for about three hours and I noticedthat everything on the right passenger door is dead andwill not work. I also noticed that the idle was affected at a stop. To date I have checked all fuses, and relays that I can find. I also removed the ground clamp for a bit which at this time has seemed to help the idle problem. The dealer wants a 100 bucks to hook up, a local mechanic said that he will fix it but that it is an investigative procedure. He can also hook up a scanner. I did not like the sounds of 80.00 an hour ( Iam in the wrong business I believe) but so far I am leaning to go to the local mechanic, as I have not had good luck at dealers. Has anybody heard of or had a similiar problem. Any suggestions or comments are more than welcomed. Thanks.

You might try asking Argon about it. You can send him a Private Message by clicking on his name in the Top 10 posters box on the right side of the screen.

Did you find out what caused the problem? My 03 Silverado is doing the same thing. I thought it was the CB Right Door breaker, but that seems fine. Any thoughts.
