Default turn signal problem....

When I turn my turn signal on either way, my steering wheel makes wierd rubbing/clicking racket until the turn signal clicks off and it's getting worse(louder). Doesn't seem to be causing any problems but it's annoying! Anyonehave a clueabout this?

No, no one has messed with it recently. Sometimes it just sounds like plastic rubbing and other times it sounds like marbles rubbing together........ [:@]It's down right annoying honestly.

Hmm.... I think I'll hold off on that for now. I wonder if the Haynes manual for this truck would have a walkthrough on that.

its not HARD...but you need to follow an airbag disable procedure...and have a special puller for the wheel

Hmm. Well I have a steering wheel puller but I'm not sure if you mean you have to have a special GM one. I'll do more research into it later.

you don't use bolts to pull...it has oblong holes for hooks

Hmm. Well I guess I'll just plan on letting the Chevy dealer stick that money in their pocket. Got more important things to worry about for now though. I might even be able to find someone who can help me with it at the dealership I'm going to work for. I start monday. I'll have to ask around there.
