Default upgrade info

I know, I know, this is a silverado site, so I will not ask you how to do it, just where to look. My wife is a big honda fanatic and will buy nothing else. She loves my truck, but for her it has to be a honda. So I bought her a 2007 accord V-6. And I must say, this car is fast. 267 horsepower on a car that weights nothing is impressive. So anyway, she is ready for some new mods, and I am looking for a site like this one that I can find the info I need without dealing with the 18 y/o no experience info. I just got done looing at a site where they hammered this guy for trying to make his own air box mod from factorty stuff. He was happy with the performance and look, but several guys gave him **** for not buying the aftermarket unit. They then told him he needed to go back to college and learn what he was doing. They even suggested classes he he needed before tring a mod like he did. The funny thing was the kid that did the mod was 18, and the ones hammering him were only 18. So they had no more education than him, but talked like experts. Anyways, off my soapbox. Does anyone know a good site?

I hate to suggest a bunch of ebay specials because last thing I ordered was a cold air intake that ended up being for the wrong car and I couldn't get refunded. But that's definately gonna be your cheapest route. Definately go with a cold air intake first and foremost though.

For her I am looking for things to make it fast, yet quiet, and not to decrease milage. This car is fast though, I was impressed which is hard to do. It will go 60-110 in no time flat. I don't drive it often, so I don't any times on it. I just got in the rear stock style raised spoiler, so except the subwoofer, that will be the first real change. I think I have created a monster, cause now she wants new rims and fog lights as well. But she hates ricers, so it will be all good. I see another sleeper coming on.

By the way, who did you order from on ebay so me and other no to avoid them?

It was one of those flyby night companies that sell a bunch of wrong parts to people, close their business, and start it again with the same parts under a different name to avoid being sued. Actually they almost had it right. I ordered a CAI for my 02 Mitsubishi Lancer when I had it and got the one for an automatic transmission instead of the one for a 5 speed apparantly. So you just wanna be careful about it. Definately send the person an e-mail and ask them lots of questions first. You can kinda tell who is reputable and who doesn't even speak english and is trying to rip everyone off. Just stick to name brand intakes and you should be fine.

I wander if someone would custom tune that thing for you. That would be pretty cool too!

I plan to try to get a tune done, upgrade the sound system, CAI if I can find a quite one, high flow yet quiet exhaust, and whatever else you do to hondas. Maybe a turbo as well. I have never built one of these so it is all new to me. I only know about domestic V-8 and inline 6

You should have just bought a GM product and slap a honda logo on it.

Also try the sport compact car mags. They love Honda's and not in the ricey way all the time. Lots of good stuff as far as tuning goes. Give it a look!

I will check it out. I just puta factory spoiler on it for her, and I have to admit it looks nice. It is a good car, but I miss driving my truck on trips. Although I think this car is faster than my truck. Time to fix that.
