Default Upgrade or no?

Well, my truck has been great, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, but there are two things that I wish it had and it doesnt.

1. 4wd
2. Backseat.

So I started looking and I think I've decided that if I do upgrade I'll go with a 95-98 Chevy Silverado with the Vortec. Probably a Red or black truck with a small lift on it. Z71 of course. Here is an example of what I'd like to find:

You guys think these are good trucks or no?

Yeah the back seats come in handy, but I like how "sporty" the single cabs are too. So it would be a tough call. I am fortunate enough to have multiple vehicles and if I didn't I would definitely have at least an extra cab, but probably a crew cab just for the practicality of it. Good luck with whatever you decide! Also I am sure you are aware of this, but do not get hung up on the Z-71 thing. It's nothing more than larger tires, upgraded shocks, and a skidplate from the factory and most used truck will at least have the larger tires and the shocks upgraded anyway by now. I know you won't have an issue getting rid of your truck the single cab trucks down here are bringing a fortune.

I just don't know what my truck is worth. KBB is way out of line. I know for a fact that it's got to be worth more than $2200.

What would a 1992 Single cab, long box, Silverado 2wd with the 350, dual exhaust, aftermarket radio, upgraded sound system, in EXCELLENT CONDITION go for? I'm sure you can tell from the pictures, but aside from the three stone chips, there are NO blemishes on the truck. There isn't even a single door ding and it has only experienced 1 michigan winter, Other than that it was in California or it was stored. Therefore NO rust other than a little bit of surface rust I found under the bumper. What would it be worth to someone buying it? brand new tires 15000 miles ago, new front brakes 10000 ago, and rear brakes/cyliinders/adjusters 1000 ago

And yeah, I'm not too worried about the Z71 thing, I just like the stance of the trucks and I like the sticker :P

I wouldn't take less than $4500 if it was mine. They are getting harder and harder to find.

Really? I hope I'm not being too optimistic here.

The truck in the link above is 1920 miles away from me. A plane ticket costs $360, and I figure roughly $384 in gas. If I can dicker the price down to $4200 then perceivably I could have a truck that is a major upgrade from my truck, and an Arizona truck, for roughly $4900 said and done?

If I were to get $4500 for my truck, It's looking like I'd be way ahead of the game correct? I'm sending my uncle out to look at it this week, he lives 2 miles from it.

I've got mine listed for sale at the moment and although the truck in question above has been sold, there are many more out in Phoenix that are definitely potentials. If I get a decent amount for my truck I'll fly out there and drive it back. Probably won't be able to do anything until at least June though
