I had someone refer to being called cliff from cheers yesterday huh? Oh uh yeah I have had as many exhaust setups on my 99 as most guys have rubbed one out. From stock, two into one muffler, straigt pipe duals, and true duals with flowmaster40's all the way back, to finallyduals with the 40's cut off at the muffler. I could set off car alarms six cars over just starting it. I wasn't even aloud to drop my girlfriend off at her house at nightI had to stop like five houses down so I wouldn't wake her parents. The last setup was the best.

Which one worked without killing torque too much?

I've added the Air raid spacer mod and headers , both at different times and I definitely had more torque and hp with both. and with both gained about 3 mpg and thats with 33"

I wonder if Jcbst12 is going to respond since his last post on this thread was 11-20-2007. I wonder which exhaust setup was the best also. I guess all we can do is wait and see if anyone else responds with their input.

well, i'm not sure if anyone will respond to this but at least someone might read it in the future.

Useless stuff.... for me anyway it was the JET performance module. I have a 06 silverado 1500 5.3 crew and all i felt was a slightly smoother shift into gear. As for gas milage, i think I actually lost some. I've put K&N CAI, Flowmaster 2 to 1, TBS, MAF sensor, and i replaced the JET **** with a Diablosport programmer. Besides the JET mod i think the MAF has probably been another expensive useless item. The TBS actually felt like it tightened up my throttle response at low RPMs. The thing that really pissed me off was the Airaid TBS. That terrible "whistling" sound was driving me nuts. I ended up replacing it for a Helix version.

I'm thinking about getting new spark plugs and wires but don't really know enough about the options or which to consider. Any info is appreciated.

They tested the E3's on Horsepower TV and got something like a 3 or 6 HP gain. That's what I run.

I thought E3's were bad though? Heard of a lot of engines blowing up or being damaged internally because of E3's. Anyone else heard this?
