Default Value check on 2 trucks

Just checking values on these 2, trying to work out a trade with a guy.

#1-1970 Chevy C10, has been lifted, crate 350 with under 10k miles, need to know what else to ask, but exterior looks good

#2-1997 C3500 crew cab, 8x10 flat bed, vortec 7400, 230k miles, 2 bench seats, fabric front, pleather rear bench. Paint isnt bad but some good sized areas it's chipped off and a bit of rust up top.

Will try to get pics up tomorrow if needed, justlooking for a rough number, ask any questions and i'll try to answer

Hard to put a value on a vehicle you can't see.

If I had to ball park it.
1970 could be worth anywhere from 700 to $8000 depending on the condition of the drive train and the body.

1997 could be $1500 to $7500

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...707121510.jpg/ (only 1 pic on there)

Just some paint issues, no real dents i can think of, bed looks like a project, not perfectly level but good. Interior is good, no tears or anything, cloth front and plastic rear, oth benches. Plastic floor liner, full covering. Heat doesnt work but no other mechanical issues, battery is only a couple months old, one speaker has a little rattle if the bass is up. Can answer any other questions, we haven't been able to sell it at 3900 on craigslist.

Can add more pics later, we got the decal removed since that pic

Will try to get some pics from the other guy, here's a link to his listing

1970 Chevy c10 lifted

Just wish we had the money to fix up our '85 c10, got some bigger tires than stock, new grill, swapped to a 350, bored it out some, flat heads, headers, some high flow exhaust, and a holly 4-barrel

My guess was right but didnt know myself, looked it up

What is a granny low transmission? | ChaCha

Super low gearing for pure power in first gear.

Are you comparing it to other things cuz my listing doesn't say that? BTW i dont know too much about trucks and vehicles, more than the average person i guess but still not much and never worked on anything (yet) cuz i'm 16 (and yes i drove this to highschool daily for a few months)

I don't want to discourage you or anything like that... but your question is subject to opinion.
To get a TRUE value on your truck... Take it to a dealer.. preferably a dealer familiar with Chev trucks or a Chev or GM dealer.

OR .. Do a search on Auto Trader .com for your truck to do a price comparison.

Asking for a value on social forums with only get you opinions.
if you want an opinion? Run it at that price for a couple of weeks to see if you get an bights. My opinion is it is a little high.. But you know, everything has a buyer.

I had the price based on what the kbb is for the regular bed, autotrader only had a 96 f350 regular cab with a 7.3 powerstroke for 3950. There's actually a work truck dealer in town but dont think they do used or anything and i doubt a normal dealer here will give much (although i went to school with the daughter of the owner of 2 dealerships)
