those are nice rims. My buddy's got a set just like that with 285 BFG M/Tand a 5" liftand it looks killer! I don't wanna be rude but its almost time for a lift, doesn't look like theres much room left in those front wheel wells.

Yep i was thinking the same thing today about a lift. Dont know if i just want to do a 4 to 6 inch lift or what. I will just have to wait and see. I have a couple other things i want to do first.

Nice rims hunt. I am considering the lift as well. My wife brought it up after seeing several trucks like mine with lifts.

Thanks smoke20. Now i just have to dicide if i want to just stick to cheap 3 inch body lift or save up and get a 4 or 6 lift. I just dont know if i want my main driving truck to have 4 or 6 inch of lift because of gas milage. Thats why i am kinda thinking just a 3 inch body. And thoughts?

I had a 3" body lift on my last truck and didn't really care for it. It just looks funny. Also you won't be able to go much taller if any at all with a body lift. I would look for a lift where you can put 35" tires or maybe 36" I think these look good. Any taller just gets expensive for tires. Also remember you will have to regear to 4.56 in order to have power or milage with this size tire.

See thats the thing if i get a 6 inch lift now then i have to get new tires. So i had thought 3 inch body now and then when i pay the truck off i can get 6inch on top of the 3 inch body and get 36 inch tires and regear ect. So i dont know.

If you do that you can fit 39" tires. But I would wait and save my money and do the 6" suspension lift etc.

body lifts are cheap and all, but the only ground clearance you pick up is by upping the tire size... im partial to suspension, but it just depends on whether you need the clearance or you just want bigger tires
