well i was driving my truck today at the speed of 65 and my trans was in overdirve
it spitts and sputters when in overdrive until i give it alot of gas also it still boggs down
just out of curiousity i put it in drive and it doesnt do that so i am up s**ts creek without a paddle as my overdrive is going out and also the rest of my trans it started to do it in drive too so today i parked the truckon my carport and i am gonna have to save awhile to get me a new trans
although i have considered getting a rebuild kit and having my local mech do it fro me as the last time i rebuilt a trans was in my sophmore year of highschool and i cant remember for the life of me how to anymore
also would like to say i feel stupid and should have drove the truck around alot more before i baught it as it worked fine to get me home then the next day it all started
anyway
if anyone knows where to get a trans rebuild kit online or a parts store let me no the trans is 16 bolt square pan eather 4l60/th700r4 or 4l60e
the truck is a 4x4 and also half ton ext cab 5.7lv8 also the trans has no modulator
