Hey, everybody, just wondering what is the best modification each of you have made to you're trucks, performance-wise? Just a way foreach other to see what worksand what sucks. Please list the good and the bad real-world results you havenoticed. Thanks.

Personally, It's a toss-up between the headers and the throttle body spacer.

 

I didn't notice a significant increase in power with my TBS, but I did notice adifference in throttle response. I would have to say the most power I've notice is from my Superchip Flashpaq tuner. With the performance setting, the mid-range power is pretty awesome. However, I don't think the amount of power versus the price is worth it. I put most of my mods on relatively at the same time, so its kind of hard to determine which one gave me the most increase. I'll keep you informed as I keep upgrading.

Peformance wise it's the CAI. Truck wise its the Hid headlights! I love how much brighter these are.

Hmm, The CAI is wonderful very easy install, The exhaust was a must for me as I had one on my old truck. Must say I am not as impressed from the magnaflow sound as I thought I would be. Sounds really great when you get on it however at idle not so much. This week I just got my Diablo Predator reprogrammer. Wow what a difference it made when I plugged in the performance tune. I mean it seems like to me that it mostly smoothed out the transmission, made it shift quite a bit better. I feel that the throttle response has been a lot better especially at say around 70mph when punched it will get up to 80 in no time.

 

definetly the higher stall torque converter and tci tranny rebuild....crisp firm shifts that break the tires loose going into second

 

I just got donetest driving my truck after installing my CAI and wow, what a difference. I think it has to be my favorite mod so far, mainly because I just love the sound when I get on it. Very noticable increase in power also.

 

I'll have to say my red neck ram air is the best so far. I really like my low temp thermostat and the descreen.
