What is the best mod you got???

definetly the higher stall torque converter and tci tranny rebuild....crisp firm shifts that break the tires loose going into second

What rpm torque converter did you install? I'm looking at possibly upgrading mine eventually, but wondering which one to get, keeping in mind my truck is still my daily driver...
possibly 2200, what do you think?
Also, what other stuff did you have TCI do to your tranny? Are you running 4L60E?
Any experience with their TCI Trans-Scat valve kit? That's another I'm looking at.
OH, and on topic, possibly the best mod I've done, considering value, ease on installation, and feeling by the seat of my pants, has got to be the Volant CAI.
But, like others, I've done a few mods all at once, so hard to tell exactly which one was best individually.
Funnest mod, well that will be the DMHe-cutout, awwww yeah, got it in my hands, now just to install it in front of my Flowmaster American Thunder side-exit! Blow some minds and flip some lids! haha...
I found out that I had a TBS... I don't know how it got there. So I couldn't tell you for sure if there were any appreciable gains to be felt.
I did notice a slightly cooler noise emminating from the engine compartment after I flipped the top of my aircleaner upside down. (Redneck RamAir FTW!!)

Aside from the turbo...I loved my headers. You can just feel the engine working easier. Cam of course is fun because of the moticeable increase in power. And of course street tuning and feeling it get stronger...and stronger...and stronger...that's fun.

But I gotta ask, what headers did you hook up that you liked so much?
I just ordered a set of the JBA Shorty ti/ceramics, after a little bit of research... Was originally looking for Thorley tri-y's orPacesetter long tubes, something longer, but decided the shorties would be good enough for my application (also running a Flowmaster American thunder side-exit, in front of rear tire, and soon hooking up a DMH performance E-cutout for open exhuast...) But, just looking to hear some input on headers and you seem to know exactly what you're doing when it comes to tuning your truck. I've heard both good and bad things about headers, so I hope I didn't make a bad choice with the JBA's....

haha, yeah your mods are takin' it to the seventh level! Stuff I'll probably only dream of on my old daily driver at the moment (got an '01Z06 to quench my need for speed).

I've used Doug Thorley headers and OBX. Shorties gain little to nothing over stock manifolds...the stock manifolds flow great and dyno tests don't show any worthwhile gains. And no, I can't pull up a dyno before and after sheet, but it's pretty well known among the performance community that shorties are a waste of money and time. If you can cancel your order, or sell them I would put the money toward longtubes. Thorleys are great, OBX are great, and Stainless Works are great. Pacesetters are also good but I'm not impressed with the quality. Sorry to rain on your parade...might still be able to recoup your money spent though.
The cut-outs are definitely fun.
