i have an 89 gmc serria 2wd 350 with ac i want to put long tube headers on and need to know if i have to adapt the ac brakets inorder to make it work

 

We're actually working on these right now and i have a truck that this mod has been done to it 1987 5.7 with air. The bracket needs to be cut, part closest to the firewall (actually it looks like a fair size needs to come off) then the bolt needs a long spacer put in, piece of pipe cut to length seems to do the trick. as far as i can see this is it for the mod.
