what should i do?
It all depends on your budget. But if you do want to go with a v8 swap go with the 6.0 or an ls1 out of a Comaro. And if you do keep the v6 there is better things than just boring it out. You can slap a turbo or supercharger on it and still get the v6 gas mileage. You should write a little more about what youre looking for. Do you want a hotrod, everyday driver, looking to hit the trails. pulling heavy trailers or drifting?
I say 350, but I have to admit to a certain bias.
Besides, the 350 is the best option for just a plethora of aftermarket parts. Availability, competitive prices...etc.
Go pick up a 350 on Craigslist, have it rebuilt, slap the bastard in and you're good to go. The mileage is less than a V-6 but big deal.
Good to have another 88-98 B-style on here. Welcome!
