Default what should my fuel pressure be at

well i have searched all over this forum site for my question
i have a 94 silverado 4wd ext cab i just recenlty baught
it runs good for about 20 miles then bogs down rpms drop below 1000 and dies out some times if i dont give it gas right away
what i am looking for is what should my normal fuel presure be
it also does this at idle
trans is good but could use new trans fluid and filter i am replaceing my fuel filter tomorrow and i am goin to replace my tbi gasket next friday
i guess my question is what should the normal fuel pressure be im thinking maybe 16 to 40 but im not sure i have a friend with a fuel pressure testor i am goin to have him hook it to my truck but i want to no what it should be at so we know if its wrong
thanks in advance for the answer

engine size 5.7lv8
auto trans 4wd
i already have replaced the temp sensor by the inlet of the collant hose on the engine that kinda helped
i will be replaceing the fuel filter tomorrow maybe that will help
also the truck sat for about 2 weeks before i baught it
i did put a full tank in when i drove it home

The TBI's are a low pressure system - 5-13 PSI if I remember correctly.

well the fuel pressure is correct
i took of the old fuel filter and replaced it with a brand new one
the old filter had so much rust in it i was about to call the guyi baught it from and give him hell cause it looked like there had been water in it
still spits and sputters when driving
i am goin to replace the tbi gasket and then im gonna pull the pump if that dont freakin work
also leanin towards a vacum leak as me and a buddy took wd40 and sprayed it on the vacum lines and pushed the throttle and it boged down bad
i am goin to do a complete tune up plugs wires cap rotar
the privious owner said it had been done but im startin to disbelieve him now
while i ws under the truck in the daylight i got a real good look at the frame also it needs some weld work done but not alot as i will post pictures of it on my proflie pitcures
so i guess i am breaking down and eventually gonna have to spend the 200 bucks for a pump if nothing i do fixes this
o well once i get her running right she will be worth the money i spend
i cant realy complain cause i baught it for 1100.00s
