I need some help. I thought changing shocks on my 2003 4wd serria Z71 was going to be a snap. However, I see that there is an electric wire attaching to the top of the shock and no coil springs on the front. What gives? The owners manual is worthless about telling me about the suspension and I don't want to pay the dealer to do the work. Can anyone direct me to what type of shocks I need for the front and rear and are there any "how to pages" that someone can send me to. Also, what is the name of this type of suspension? I have about 57k on the odometer.
