My friend wants to buy an 04 Sierra 4x4 pickup and has offered to sell me his pickup for what he owes on it so he can purchase the other truck.

The truck in question is a 1998 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab, 5.7L, true dual exhausts, magnaflow mufflers with tips, K&N air intake system, new paint job, new tires, 120,000 milesand spray on bed liner. He can sell it for over $5,000 but will sell it to me for $3500.00.

Should I buy his truck and sell mine which has over 145,000 miles on it or just keep mine. Also, what excuse would you use to convince your wife of the purchase

 

keep em all...at least till you find out if the 98 is a turd or not

 

I wouldn't be so eager to get rid of yours. Course everyone's opinion is different but I'm pretty certain I'll be taking my Sierra with me through life, Lord willing.

 

Buy it keep both and tell the wife that you can make more money in the long run. If you decided to sell them. Plus $3500 is not bad to have another truck incase your truck or your wifes car breaks down.

 

I'm with "Hunt" on this one... It sucks to borrow a vehicle, especially when it's inferior to what you accustomed to...
