Default wheel bearings????

Hello, I've got a 1995 Chevy 1500, automatic, 350. When dring slow, there's a pulsing whistling, winding sound. When I speed up, the pulsing sound increases in timing but not in tandem with acceleration. Is it the wheel bearings??? Any suggestions where I should start to look for the problem? It doesnt sound like its coming from the engine. When idling, there's no sound, only while actual driving.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Regards

Either bad bearings or you have a house cat jammed in your engine bay.

sound like its from the rear?....maybe a pinion bearing or ring gear

at hiway speeds...does accelerating make it louder, and a coast soften it?

I had a whistling sound in the rear a year ago. It ended up being a bad drive shaft u-joint in the rear.
