I am in dire need of a diesel truck and want a crew cab. I was all ready to go get an '07 when I realized that the rear seats only fold towards the back. with the tunnel on the floor it makes it a nonflat surface. As I store most things in pvc bins, I like to stack then aside one another and this is now difficult.

I am wondering if anyone knows when the rear seats that fold towards the driver stopped being available as I know I have seen 2003's with those type of seats. Of course I am a fan of the allison tranny and the duramax, but the new market leaves me looking at the dodges to get the rear seat folding style I'd also like most. Any and all help is much appreciated.

agreed. I want the chevy indeed. Now I've seen pics of a guy's 2006 2500 that had rears that folded forward the way I'd like. It makes me wonder if it's an option, but I can't find it as one on the websites.

Argon should now if its a option or not. But if it is not surely you can modify it some how or something.

 

The 06 is the last year that they made the seats like that. I just got an 06 and there is a ton of room when u fold the seats down
