i guess im fairly close to "done" with mine (major things comlete)... all i lack is headers, electric fans, custom tune and a new cam

I agree that I'll never be done. At some point tho I'll read about some guy with a brand new GMC or Chevy with crazy HP gains with a couple of new bolt-ons or a programmer or something then I'll want to buy a new one.

never always something to work on and then you find something that needs fixing so instead of stock you go aftermarket my wife is pretty good about letting me do things as long as i do cheap things she doesnt mind but i have to really plan bigger things so as not to dump large load of money lol

"Honey, at leasti'm not out blowing all our money at the bars all night. Plus you can usually find me when you want me and(here's the bounus) I usually drink when i do anything to the truck so i feel that's very responsible."
Her response: "how is it responsible to get drunk and work on the truck?"
me: " Because most of the projects i'm doing involve disabling thetruck in some way. so i can't drive it until i am done and/orsober!"

southbay - no I haven't told him about running him over, just outrunning him. Now just how to get my truck to go 0-60 in under 3 seconds.
I did have a cop friend ask me what I would do if he pulled me over in my old truck with 35s, and I said he better not park his behind me as the truck had a tendency to go into reverse with heavy throttle. He was not amused .......but never tried to pull me either.
