the remote unlocker doohickey for my doors? my remote stopped working (one of the clips holding the battery broke... i dont know how)... at a dealer? or is there somewhere cheaper?

 

Also check locksmiths, many of them now carry or could easily get one for you.

 

If you go to a dealer and ask for their old ones they should give you a few. I went with my friend to the Chevy dealer when he bought his truck and asked for them. When he came home with the truck he had five of them. Two of them needed batteries but they all worked. They have them layin around somewhere at every dealer.

 

Or you could check ebay. I bought one for my sister-in-laws ford ranger for like $10.

 

I was going to recommend Ebay too ...there are a lot of different vendors selling them on there, so make sure that you check their feedback.

 

Same thing happened to my '01. I soldered it back on.

 

alright thanks guys... i'll check out the locksmith and ebay, but my local chevrolet dealership won't give them away, they sell them (its by far the most ridiculous dealership i've ever heard of... they sell them as if it was the factory option price)
