Who makes the best Head Unit?

RE: Who makes the best Head Unit?
I voted Kenwood. While I appreciate the quality and capabilities of my Alpine, and like my son's Blaupunkt...the Kenwood was my first and most cherished. I'm really looking forward to the response of others, however. This poll just might influence my choice of a unit for my newly-acquired '01 Sierra.

i love my pinoneer premire it has awsome sound quality easy to use and if you want to get more complicated you can change amp wattage sub hit, set it up for reverse subs and a hell of alot more and it also has xm which is sweet as hell

Clarion hands down. I have owned just about all of the head units on the list and clarion is the best. it is an absolute work horse and has a very high output rating. i currently have the clarion pro audio dxz something. but it has aux inputs, sub control, plays all formats + sattelite radio. These may not have all the bells and whistles like the race car screen savers but it is the absolute best bang for the buck unit i have ever owned.

Ditto on the Alpine I have with XM satellite tuner built in. It ran $250 brand new. Next step might be $150 option to plug a USB device into my stereo that will allow me to use thumb drives (USB memory keys) to play my music over the stereo.
