I've been thinking about getting a flowmaster or glass pack muffler for my 2008 Silverado. Everything is stock as far as the exhaust goes. I like the sound so I don't care to get duals, I was just wondering if a muffler would do much good or if I'd just be wasting money.

I like the sound of my stock '08 also. IMO, you'll be wasting your money.

 

If you like the sound, why change it?

There are sound clips of what these trucks sound like with just about any muffler you could think of on youtube so you might want to check that out

I like the sound, but if I could just make it a little louder it would be even better.

 

I put a flowmaster single in/ dual out exhaust on my 2008 silverado and it sounds and looks awesome.
