Thanks for the advice...why is is better to take it to a muffler shop? Is it because the tips are welded on? The entire system is welded together?

Also i've been trying to decide which intake to do...i know K@N is super popular but i saw another post and people were ranting about AEM's dry intake and how that's better...any suggestions?

If I were doing an intake I would do the AEM Brute Force since you don't have to oil the filter.

Yes so you dont get oil from the air filter onto your MAF sensor.
