So i just had this 72 pretty much given to me and dont know a whole lot of its history, i was told it was a military order only 1500 made. anyone have info on this type of truck?

the truck is a former military truck most likely from the navy or airforce
dodge made a truck that was a 4 door a guy i went to highschool with dad has one
and your truck is freaking sweet dude keep that and dont sell rebuild
your chevy is a very rare find

 

That is one cool truck! I didn't think the military would have a 2wd 1/2 ton truck but you learn something new everyday! I have seen pics of a crewcab 1 ton 4wd of those years. They were made for the U.S. forestry or parks I think. Keep it, fix er up and drive it!
