Default 01 Ram 2500 diesel w/ chip question

Just bought an 01 Ram 2500 diesel with 6 speed, and power puck chip. Information I have been able to look up shows the HO diesel with 505 ft # of torque and the tranny will take 550 ft #, the chip info shows 150 ft# added which puts the output at 655 ft #. Is this a safe setup or should I take the chip out. The truck will be used to pull a 30 ft travel trailer and so my concern is for the tranny. Empty I feel comfortable with the power, just no sure about towing with this much power over what the factory says should be the limit.

Thanks for your input and experiences with this tranny and type of setup.
