Default 5.7 mileage

I am considering the purchase of a new 4x4 pu. I've always been a GM man, but like the looks of the new 1500 Dodge, however I'm concerned about the fuel economy. I would appreciate any input from Dodge owners on the real world mpg that you get with the Hemi. Also what other advantages do you see over a GM or Ford. Thanks

He is heavy on the gas pedal with this truck. I am getting 14mpg in the city and 17-18mpg on the highway driving the speed limits (70).
