cruise not working and gurgling sound
1998 dodge ram 5.2L I don't post much but thx for any help about this issue.
My cruise stopped working and I have a gurgling sound that seems to come from the area behind where the drink holder sits when I hit the gas. The A/C also shifts up to the defrost vents under a decent acceleration and will stay there until I let up off the gas.
Are these issues related it seems I remember reading a little while back about some sort of vacuum hose leak. Is the hose able to be gotten to without having to take the dash apart?

I don't know what is going on with the cruise control but, as far as the gurgling sound....
Add some coolant or water to your radiator and make sure that it's full. The gurgling sound is probably a bit of air in the cooling/heating system and the noise is a bit of cavitation as it is passing through.
