<FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">How do I tell which Dana differential is under a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500? I have a co-worker that has the truck and wants to know which front differential he has. Don't they look the same from the outside? How do I tell if it's a Dana 44 or Dana 60? Take the VIN to a dealer..they should be able to tell you!

 

I was told that they only used one axle in half ton doges. its a D44. Dan
