Dodge Ram 2500 need to remove oilpan

Default Dodge Ram 2500 need to remove oilpan

Could someone give me some type of detail information on removing and replacing the oil pan from my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500?? thanks. can be emailed also lucky@essex1.com

drain the oil
remove all the bolts around the edge of the pan
remove pan
place new seal on new pan
place bolts in around pan only finger tight
tighten bolts in a criss cross pattern
refill with oil

that is about it. i know it is not detailed but it really is that simple !! :-)

This is a 4x4 and I think the motor has to been raised in order to drop the oil pan, I wished it was that easy, thanks
