Ok... first of all, I just bought this truck. 1995 Dodge Ram 2wd, V-6, 131k from the second owner. He put 54k on it in 7 years of ownership. He is 39 and bought it from his Dad (original owner).
Problem... it is missing and running rough. At a idle there is VERY little shake to the engine, however when gas is applied... a definate miss is there. Miss seems to disappear at about 3500 rpms.When driving it miss's like heck till about 45...soon as it goes into OD it gets REAL BAD! Push the OD button and miss seems to go away. Pulled all the plugs and inspected. All seemed fine (champions). Plug wires look good. There is NO engine light on (that would be to easy). Compression on all cylinders is 145 (+ or - 5). Just for giggles I pulled one plug wire and started it. Very little difference in performance. Plugged that one back in and pulled a different wire and started again... same thing!
So... truck seems to run real close to the same with all wires connected as with only 5 connected! Stumped? I sure as heck am... HELP...PLEASE!!!
