I was looking at buying a high mileage (100,000+) Dodge Ram, but I haven't heard good things about the trans. Any opinions on high mileage Dodge vehicles would be great. I know this is a Dodge Ram forum but I hope to get a little unbiased information. Thanks.

 

i worked for dodge, and people do have problems with the transmissions in the 2nd gen rams. (1994-2002). however, we have a 94 ram sport with 125,000 on it, and with minor mods, it runs 14.80s in the quarter mile, and has the original transmission.
