hello i have a 2001 dodge ram sport 5.2L the check gauges light comes on and my battery gauge goes up to 18v the lights and dash lights flicker and there's a whinging noise. i've replaced the alternator that didn't fix it so i was thinking maybe a voltage regulator but all i could find online suggests that's in the pcm anyone know if thats it or maybe something else i'm overlooking any help would be great. thanks steve
