the speed control sensor is right on the transmission on my ram 1500 99, it should be right at the spot. $20 is what the part cost. easy to fix. Drain the transmission fluid first, then put the speed control sensor. very easy to fix and very noticeable on the transmission

 

yes indeed the OSS is easy to change...
