What kind of mpg does your V-10 get?

What kind of mpg does your V-10 get?
I'm really thinking about getting the V-10. It's a 2001 one ton dually and looks great but a lot of people tell me not to do it cuz the V-10 gets about 9-10 mpg. What are you guys getting? Please help me decide. Thanks
