Default 1997 ford f-150 shifter
anyone have any ideas what my problem might be. I have a ford f-150 it is a 1997 automatic and you have to hold the brake to get out of gear sometimes you have to work with for ten minutes or so to get in any other gear from park

Definately a problem with your gear box transmission.Take your car to your dealer or to a good garage..... That's it I can say on your gear Transmission!

Okay, I have a question. I'm installing a 3 inch body lift on my 1998 ford F150 and i was wondering if you had to weld the shifter together?
