hi my name is josh, and i was wondering if anyone knew of any parts that add horsepower or any performance to my 4.9 inline 6. i've looked, but i have no idea what else to do to it. so if anyone could help me.

 

Well my brother has 1996 Ford F150 with a fuel injected 4.9 liter inline six. It also has a 5 speed manual transmission. The best thing we have done so far is just put a new Cat converter and dualed it out using a flowmaster. After that it immediately came to life. We are now looking for other performance parts. We found a header that was coming from California, but they kept dragging their feel so my brother canceled it. Also we are looking into a programmer or a module. I did a post titled "Header, programmer or module" but know responces as of yet. Anyhow the best thing so far was the dual exhaust... Oh yeah he also has a K & N filter too. Hope this helps.
