I have a 1990 f 150 lariet 4x4. My truck has 252000 kms but it is well maintained. When i am in 2x4 it will make a rumbling noise coming from the front left but only some of the time, mainly when i am turning or going under 50km. When i am in 4x4 the noise stops and never happens. I took it to a shop to getnew tire and it was in there for 3 hours warming up ( it is an average of -30 outside) and when it came out it didnt make the noise for at least 4 hours. My grandfather said it could be my U joint or my hub lockon the left side but i dont know. please help me try to figure what is wrong with my truck.
