Hello, I have a 1996 F250 XL. I cannot get the headlights to come on. I have done changed the bulbs. The only thing that works with the headlights is if I hold the lever back and hold the brights on. The blinkers work, but the hazards do not. All fuses are working. All the wires seem intact. I am starting to pull my hair on this one. I also have an issue with the ignition. I can start the car, but cannot turn it off with the key. I can even pull the key out while its running and it'll keep running. to turn the truck off I have to pull the wire off the distributor cap. I also have to keep the battery disconnected when I am not using the truck otherwise the electronics keep running. This is definitely tied in with the reason it won't turn off. Please help!!

 

Update: I replaced the multiswitch and it made my situation worse. So I put the old one back in. Idk what the prob is but it needs to get fixed. Headlights, taillights, and flashers don't work still. Replaced bulbs, fuses, and headlight switch and now multiswitch, which made no lights work. What's the deal??
