I bought a 2003 F-250 new and had the dealer install a remote start and keyless entry on it. Since then I've had 2 switches go out: one in a door and one under the hood. Now something is happening again. Often times when I start up the truck the windows and the radio don't work. Sometimes if I slam the doors they'll come on, other times I have to drive for a few minutes (sometimes up to 10 minutes) before the radio will suddenly come on and the windows will work. The keyless entry and remote start will still work even tho the radio/windows won't. I'm sick of dropping over $100 to replace switches. I don't care about the remote locks, only the remote start. I need that for snow plowing in the winter. Can anyone tell me what the heck is going on and how do I disconnect the locks if that's the problem. HELP !!!
