i baught a 05 powerstroke diesel crewcab lariat, im wondering if putting a straight pipe on it will cause the computer to shut the motor down, or do i have to buy a chip for it before i do this??, also ive heard it isnt the best motor for reliability, is this true? because i hope im not having to do fixes on it often. any info on this truck is welcome

 

Get rid of it, I had nothing but trouble with mine.
