I have a 2008 F250 XLT that I bought used. It didn't come with any keyfobs so I went to buy one at the dealership and it wouldn't program. The truck goes into program mode but wouldn't recognize any of the key fobs.

Do yall know where the remote module in the truck is or possibly a fuse # related to it. The dealership said I may need to purchase the new module for the truck.

Also I found out it was a repossession but I don't think that would affect it.

being a repo wouldnt matter. Are you sure the dealer gave you the right one?

 

Do you mean the right keyfob? They did type my model in the CPU for the part #. I guess I could check another dealership.
