does anybody know how to program a keyless entry remote for 95 z71.

 

try cycling the key to on/off position a few(3,5,8) timesand see if the locks move and then push a button on the key fob and then see if it worked. Not sure if it will work but give it a shot.

 

i wanna say jumper dlc pins 4 and 8 and then hit the lock+unlock.... but i wouldnt do it to anything i own without looking it up to be certain first

 

4 and 8 is correct

 

I printed out about 5 or 6 different programming methods off of the internet before I found on that worked. Trail and error is one good way to do it. Find posts with a people that has a very similar year/make/model of vehicle and try it. If you are lucky, you'll find it the first time or two.

 

actually...hehe, now i'm gunnu take it back, jumpering 4 and 8 might only be on the 96-00 (old body style 99, 00). unless the 95 had the obd2 connector, but i can only recall doing this with an obd2 connector. argon, our human database, sure this works back to 95?

 

95 has the OBDI. They did not integrate the OBDII until 96.

 

you may be right about the 95...hell,its been awhile.
yanno,some of those golden oldies had little connectors to jump...I know roadmasters hafd that.../
