Can anyone point me to an on-line cutaway view of a rear differential of a '76 F250 4x4 on the web?
The spline is stripped out on the rear of the drive shaft where it goes into the diff and I'm not sure haw much I'll have to tear down to repair it.

I'm lookin' at a Haynes manual right now and it's got a pretty good picture on page 8-6,7 of the appropriate manual for your vehicle. Depends on whether you have a semi-floating or full-floating rear end. What type of rear end is under it now?
