Default auxiliary fuel tank

I just bought a 2007 F350 Crew cab….so far love it. I had a 1999 F350 with a lot of add ons and elected to move them to my new truck. One of the items is a 60 gal auxiliary tank, made by RPM, with a transfer switch that allowed using the factory F350 fuel gauge. I am getting allot of mixed comments on reinstalling the same system on the new F350. Some say no problem. Others say it will not work with the 2007 computer. Others say use a second fuel gauge. (Understand that there is a service bulletin stating not to use of a second fuel gauge). I am really confused. I would appreciate comments or a direction to go to resolve this.
Thanks
