I have an F-250 XLT 460 that I drive occasionally, about 1000 miles per year. This weekend I drove it over 500 miles and near the end of the trip the "Check Engine" light came on. Then it went off after a few miles, then came back on. The gages were all normal and the truck ran good. What could this have been? When I got home I turned the truck off and about 30 minutes later I went out and started it again and the light did not come on. Would a fault register if I get it checked out or was this a temporary situation??
