clutch, master, or slave problem
I have a 84 f250 6.9 4 speed manual. I was driving yesterday and noticed that the clutch pedal wasn't returning up. When I push the clutch in there's hardly resistance till about the last 1/5 of the way. then it won't come up. I had to pull it back up with my foot. There's full fluid in the resevoir for the master.. but I don't know if its the clutch itself, or the master or the slave??? Help please!!!thanks
I am waiting a response to your post also.
I've got an 89 f250 custom with 5 spd and I have the same issue. Most of the time I have to pull the pedal up with foot. My problem goes a bit further. If I hold the clutch to the floor at a stop for too long, the pressure bleeds off and it will try to engage. This was like this when I bought it and the previous owner has tried to bleed it.
I don't know if it's clutch, master cyl, or slave cyl. Bleeding the system hasn't helped.
