My new 06 f250 SD has the 17" wheels that come with the Fx4.

Tires are 265 70 R17, but the spare is missing.



My old 01 has the stock 16" with 235 85 R16, and a good spare.

Overall mounted tire diameter is about the same at 31" or so.



I like the narrower 16" 10 ply OEM type tires; I think they are quieter and get down to the road better in snow.


Any problem swapping out and selling the 01 with the 17" rims?

 

Crickets by you guys so far but here's what's new:

The 17's are very deep dish and may have clearance issues on the 01.

The hub hole and lug pattern are OK

any comments?

 

OK clearance issues fixable with spacer plates front wheels both trucks.

Pros, Cons?
