I just got a 2006 F-350 King Ranch Dually (diesel). It says that it is getting 10mpg. I have talked to other owners who say they get about 18mpg. I was wondering if the previous owner may have had something like a Banks Air system in it and pulled it when he traded it in. WOuld somehting like that explain the poor mpg? If so, how can I best fix it? If not, what else might cause this?

make sure your hubs are not locked, i worked at ford and one of the managers was complaining about the fuel economy so i went out and unlocked his hubs for him..... It sounds dumb but you would be surprised how many people forget to unlock their hubs
