Hey guys.
I am currently looking into buying myself a newer 3/4 truck in the 2000 - 2005 model years and was wondering if you had any advice on what to get, how are ford trucks for millage, would i be better to go with the V10 triton or get a diesel? and advice would be helpful

If you can find a 7.3 Turbo Diesel jump on it... if it's the 6.0 or 6.4 then run away

Better off with turbo or non-turbo 7.3 Diesel. especially if you're good around diesel. Tritons are best if you prefer to stick with gas. Both have ups and downs. If you end up getting the turbo diesel...please upgrade your pulleys to aftermarket pulleys. Or you'll end up replacing them every 10-20000 miles. Or after a few BIG loads that are near your max capacity. The turbos have a habit of snapping stock pulleys in the 1990-2005 models.
