hey guys/gals im new to the forum so take it easy on me please. im looking at buying a truck maybe 250/350 i been wanting a diesel because i was told it was cheaper to operate (fuel consumption not maintenance) better then a gas. i was looking at years around 2002-2010. can someone tell me what sizes of engines were in that year range 6.0l 7.3l etc. and and which are the best for fuel consumption? i am not planmning on doing any heavy hauling but maybe a 5th wheel camper in the future but fo rnow i just wanted to put on a sled deck to haul my 2 sleds around. i was looking at a f-150 flareside 5.4L but i think she is not heavy enough and will burn more fuel.. thanks in advance
