Default Planning on buying a 96 f350 powerstroke

im planning on buying a 1996 f350 powerstroke 7.3 4 door 8 foot bed with 200,000... im trading one guy for my 1999 silverado

i just want to know common problems with this year engine and some things i will have to look out for or if i should even get this truck.

Mine has run good so far, and it's about to turn over 200k. It's all about the maintenance, and how they took care of it. So far, I've only fixed a fuel leak and a new clutch. Bearings and brakes. That's about it. New tires, of course. I bought it in 2008 with 140k, from there to 200k has been all me. I pull a 30' travel trailer fine.

I'm in a simliar boat to you also. Or one that you were in. I see this was from a year ago.
Looking to purchase a 94-2002 7.3l extended cab, long bed.

Do you have any feedback if you did purchase it?

you are making the best trade in the world. if i could trade a chevy for a ford i would be all over that and its a 7.3 so the best diesle motor ford has ever made and 4 door with extended bed. you hit gold
